Laura Weaver will be the new principal at Westridge Elementary. Laura has served as the Student Support Specialist at Westridge where she has been an indispensable partner in supporting the school community, as well as the broader SSS team.
Prior to joining LOSD, Laura was an elementary teacher in the West Linn-Wilsonville School District and in schools in San Diego. Laura earned her Administrative License from Lewis & Clark College, her Master of Education from High Tech High Graduate School of Education in San Diego, and her Bachelor of Arts in Diversified Liberal Arts from the University of San Diego.Laura is replacing Jules Laaperi as principal of Westridge; Jules has accepted a position with West Linn-Wilsonville School District.
