Today we came together as a school to have some fun and participate in “LOHS Kick Back - Students vs Staff Kickball Game”. Students in our Marketing 3: Entrepreneurship class created this event after recognizing the need to connect and have some fun, celebrating a year of being back together. One of the goals for this student-driven event is to raise money for a specific cause. This year our students chose to focus on mental health, something that has impacted many of our students over the past years, especially during the pandemic. Thanks to fundraising and generous donors, the Marketing 3: Entrepreneurship class was able to donate $10,000 to Unity Health Center for Behavioral Health today during the event.
We would like to thank:
Major Sponsor Grant Hammersly and Joe’s Burgers
Sponsor Billy Stimpson and Brix Paving
DJ Max Barenberg of Blackboard Music
Jon Hoevet Bellagios Pizza and Dip and Dots

Senior Parking Application 22-23 - Google Docs.pdf: shorturl.at/uvTX0
Would you like guaranteed parking Monday through Friday at Lake Oswego High School next year for your student? Six reserved parking spots for the 2022-2023 school year are available for a $2000 donation to the Laker Club. Please email Kate Firmin at kate.firmin@hotmail.com no later than Monday, May 30th (Memorial Day) if you would like a spot for your Laker.
If more than six families respond, we will invite the families who have committed to the $2000 donation before the deadline to participate in an auction via texting at 10:00 am Tuesday morning, May 31st for one guaranteed spot. Principal Kristen Colyer will then draw five names from a hat to award the remaining five parking spots at $2000 each. Winners will be contacted Wednesday, June 1st and have until Friday, June 3rd to make their donation in order to keep their spot.
This is an awesome opportunity to have guaranteed parking AND a GREAT spot close to school all year long especially with such limited parking available at LOHS. Of course seniors are guaranteed a spot somewhere on or near school grounds, but the rest of our students are not.
All proceeds will go towards teacher grants for our 2022-2023 school year. It's a win/win for our Laker students and teachers!
Go Lakers!
Lake Oswego High School has recently partnered with Special Olympics Oregon to become a Unified Champion School! As a part of this program, there are three different pillars that students can choose to be involved in. These pillars include: Unified Sports, LOHS Youth Leadership & Inclusion Committee, and Whole School Engagement Activities. Students can choose to be involved in as many pillars as they like. The overall goal of this program is to get as many students engaged with the #choosetoinclude movement!
If you have students that would be interested in participating as a part of this program, please pass along the pdf below that has links for them to register!
