Volunteer Application

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Lake Oswego School District (LOSD). All adults working with our students must submit an annual volunteer application. Applications submitted between July 1 and June 30 are valid for that school year.

How to Apply

To apply, follow these steps:

  1. Download and Sign the Policy Form
  2. Complete the Volunteer Application
  3. Wait for Approval
    • Allow up to three weeks for approval.

    • You will receive an email notification once your application is approved.

    • The school will be informed of your approval status.

Required Information

To complete your application, you will need:

  1. Email Address: For notification purposes.

  2. Government-Issued ID Information: Ensure your full legal name matches.

  3. Social Security Number: Required for the background check.

  4. Signed Policy Acknowledgement Form: An unsigned form will result in automatic denial.

Additional Information

  • Background Check: The LOSD Human Resources department will use the provided information for a background check.

  • Processing Time: Approval can take up to three weeks.

  • Accommodations: If you need assistance with the background check, please email the LOSD HR department.
