Tutoring & Academic Support
We are committed to ensuring every student has access to the support they need to succeed. To support this, we provide a range of in-school resources designed to meet students where they are and help them grow.
Educators
Start by contacting the teachers, who can provide insight into areas for growth and recommend ways to support learning outside of the classroom.
Academic Support Center
A structured period designed to provide targeted academic assistance. Students may proactively add this to their schedule if they anticipate needing support during the semester.
Advisory and Contact Periods
Dedicated time during the school day for students to complete work, check in with teachers, and receive additional guidance.
Peer Tutoring
Students who have demonstrated mastery in specific subjects volunteer to support their peers. School counselors can help connect students with peer tutors.
If families choose to pursue outside academic support, we recommend researching options through trusted online resources or personal referrals. Families are responsible for selecting and vetting any outside providers. Our district will no longer maintain or publish a list of outside tutors. Our focus remains on strengthening and expanding the supports available within our schools so that every student has access to help when they need it.
