Oregon Farm to School

Your Lake Oswego School District proudly participates in the Oregon Farm to School program. This program provides grant funding to the Nutrition Services Department to use in local purchasing with farms and small businesses. Here are some of our local partners and what your students can find on the meal tray.

Hood River Organics, Hood River OR – Provides organics produce ranging in Apples, Pears, Blueberries, Strawberries, Bell Peppers, Cherry Tomatoes. These organic products are at all schools during their season. 

Gorge Farmers Collective, Columbia River OR – NEW for SY 25/26 - Provides fresh local produce from farmers across the Columbia River. You can find their fresh produce on our salad bars. 

Our Table Cooperative, Sherwood OR – Provides local blueberries we use in our smoothies and salad bars. 

Wild Geese Farm, Lake Oswego OR - NEW for SY 25/26 – Provides super local produce such as lettuce, cucumbers and baby carrots. These will be at all LOSD salad bars. 

Happy Curry Foods, Salem OR – Provides curry sauces used on our Indian inspired entrees. You can find these in our Sweet Mango Chicken, Masala Chicken and Butter Chicken recipes. 

Felton & Marys Artisan Foods, Portland OR – Provides PawPaw Sausages served at secondaries. Provides Smokey BBQ sauce used at all condiment stations. 

Pacific Seafoods, Clackamas OR – Provides locally sourced shrimp, salmon & steelhead from the Columbia River and Oregon Coast. You can find these items as entrees this school year.
