Lakeridge Middle School athletics are open to all students, with different sports occurring each season that school is in session. Practices occur after school, and bus transportation is provided for any offsite contests. Teachers, staff members, and volunteers coach the student-athletes. Please see below the required registration forms and an overview of each sport. Schedules and other timely information are shared during the season.

Registration is open for co-ed Track & Field!
To participate you must be completely registered by Friday, March 24th by doing ALL the following:
1. Submit a 2022/2023 LMS Athletic Clearance Form to the front office. In most cases, this requires a physician’s signature. Please refer to this form. If you have submitted a form after March 2022, that will be accepted.
2. Register and Submit the $150 Athletic Fee per sport on the Community School Website. **The deadline to withdraw from the program and request a refund is 3/28/2023.
3. Return or pay for any missing uniforms from previous sports.
*The registration deadline is firm and late registrants will be placed on a wait list.
Practices & Meets
All participants are expected to attend an orientation Monday, March 20th, 4:10 – 5:15. The first practice will be Tuesday, March 21st at 4:10.
Starting Monday, April 3rd practices will take place every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 4:10 – 5:30*, unless there is a meet, half day, or no school. When we have a Thursday meet, we will not hold practice the following Friday. *If your athlete needs to take the activity bus home they will be allowed to leave early.There will be one meet each week beginning the week of April 10th.
The season concludes with the district meet on May 16th at Tualatin High School.
**Selected athletes will be invited by coaches to participate in the district meet. The selection criteria will be based upon competition results, as well as regular participation in practices throughout the season.
Athletes who qualify for State in Corvallis will have the option to continue for one more week.
One-way transportation will be provided to all meets. Parents are expected to transport athletes home. If you ride home with someone other than your parents, you must provide your coach with a note or email from your parents.
By participating in the track program, you are expected to attend all practices and meets unless you are excused due to illness or an emergency. (If you are absent from school, you may not attend practice or a meet that day.)
