The Oregon Battle of the Books, also known as OBOB, is a competition where you team up with friends to read books, then compete against other teams to see which one can remember the most about the books.
Sign-up deadline: Wed. Dec. 15, 2021
What is the time commitment?
Your team is responsible for reading all sixteen OBOB books, but you can divide them up among your teammates. Each person only needs to read 4-8 books, on his or her own time, between now and February. It's a good idea to have at least two people read each book, but not required.
What books do I read? Here is a slideshow of the 21/22 books. Here is an annotated list of the books.
When will the battle begin?
The IN-PERSON school competition will occur on Sat, February. 26, 2022 from 9 am-2 pm. The winning team from Lakeridge Middle School will go to a regional competition in the spring and will compete against schools from all over Clackamas County.
