The mission of Lakeridge High's Counseling Program is to provide all students with academic, post-secondary, and socio-emotional support and resources to develop into confident, competent, healthy, and productive members of their communities. Students will gain the necessary skills to navigate through high school and their post-secondary plans through developmentally appropriate curriculum. By strategically supporting and creating partnerships with educators and stakeholders, the counseling program advocates for equity and provides interventions as needed to support all students to achieve their goals.
LHS Counselors help students and families with the following:
Academic Planning, Forecasting, Post-Secondary Planning, College Applications, Financial Aid, Academic Support and Intervention Plans, 504 Plans, Social Emotional Support, Referrals to Social Worker, Connection to Community Resources, Naviance, Health and Attendance Plans, and much more. Students can visit their counselor during the school day, or set up an appointment via email.

Hailing from Honolulu, Quinn came to Oregon for college at Linfield and graduated with degrees in Sociology and Psychology. She was a competitive volleyball player and enjoys coaching. Originally from Wisconsin, Christopher stayed in his home state for college, graduating with a degree from University of Wisconsin. Christopher enjoys writing and is a published author. He also likes camping and exploring the Oregon Coast. He enjoys cooking and loves a good steak. Being a true collaborator, Christopher also cheers for the Green Bay Packers.

Gordon Hilberg

A native Oregonian, Gordon is from Corvallis. He earned his degree in Cultural Anthropology from Oregon State and is a proud Beaver. Gordon loves sushi, listening to podcasts and running. A favorite book is The Things They Carried. Gordon also coaches JV basketball for our Pacers. In true Northwest form, Gordon likes supporting the Seattle Mariners.

Brian Crawford
Assistant Principal - Students and Curriculum
Where is Brian Crawford from? Right here at Lakeridge High School. Brian launched from LHS for college at Western Oregon and has spent 20 years in education. Brian loves coaching sports, playing chess and listening to music. His favorite book is Designing Your Life, and he loves supporting the Minnesota Vikings (where he once was an offensive lineman).

Originally from Bellevue, Washington, Teresa moved to Oregon following graduation from business school at the University of Washington. She also has her College Counseling certification from UCLA. Living here, Teresa enjoys outdoor adventures and time with family and friends. She loves spicy Thai food and her favorite sports team is the Washington Huskies.
