LOSD Curriculum Adoption Community Review

2024-25 Health Instructional Materials Adoption

Health Education

Public Review of Materials

Lake Oswego School District has engaged in an extensive vetting process of instructional materials for Health Education. We coordinated teams of teachers and staff in reviewing materials that the Oregon Department of Education has identified as high quality based on the Oregon Instructional Materials Evaluation Toolkit (OR-IMET) rubric. The teams used specific criteria and district instructional priorities to select the programs that best meet the needs of our students. All materials are based on the Oregon Health Education Standards. We seek public feedback to help our School Board finalize their decision.

The following materials are being considered for adoption in our health instructional programs. We ask willing community members to review these materials and give feedback to our School Board. The School Board will consider public comment as it decides whether to accept the recommendations of the adoption committees.
