We are committed to:
- Providing safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environments.
- Teaching and reinforcing positive behavior, responsible decision-making, and digital citizenship.
- Supporting students' academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Maintaining safe and responsible use of school facilities, transportation, and technology.
- Partnering with families to help students develop the knowledge, skills, and character needed to be successful in school and beyond.
Student Expectations
As a student, I agree to:
Respect Myself and Others
- Treat others with kindness and respect, both in person and online.
- Use language free from discriminatory, harassing, or derogatory comments.
- Protect the privacy of myself and others.
- Never record, photograph, or share others without permission.
Be Responsible
- Follow directions from school staff, bus drivers, and other authorized adults.
- Be on time, prepared to learn, and contribute positively.
- Complete my own work honestly.
- Report unsafe or inappropriate behavior.
Be a Responsible Digital Citizen
- Use district technology and accounts to support learning.
- Communicate respectfully and appropriately in digital spaces.
- Protect my own privacy and the privacy of others.
- Complete my own work honestly and give credit to others.
- Follow my teacher's directions and district technology expectations.
Help Keep Our Schools Safe
- Help maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful learning environment.
- Follow all bus safety expectations.
- Follow all school and district rules and policies.
Cell Phones
I understand that personal devices, including cell phones and smartwatches, must remain off and away during the school day unless an exception has been approved by the principal.
Consequences
I understand that failure to meet these expectations may result in disciplinary action in accordance with district policy. Depending on the nature of the behavior, consequences may include classroom interventions, suspension from class or school, suspension or loss of bus riding privileges, restitution for damaged property, or other appropriate disciplinary measures.
Family Acknowledgment
As a parent/guardian, I acknowledge that:
- I have reviewed these expectations with my student.
- I understand these expectations apply at school, during school activities, on district transportation, and when using district technology and digital learning tools.
- I will support my student's safe, respectful, responsible, and ethical behavior both in person and online.
- I understand that failure to meet these expectations may result in disciplinary action in accordance with district policy.
