Get Involved
Serve
We invite all students, teachers, staff members, parents/guardians, and community residents to consider serving on our district and school advisory committees. Your voice and insights are vital to shaping the future of our schools. These committees meet four to six times yearly, from October through May.
School-specific committees are available at each school for Parent/Teacher Clubs and School Advisory Committees to serve alongside the school leadership.
Volunteer
Volunteers are essential for the success of Lake Oswego schools. Our schools benefit from many dedicated parents, guardians, and residents donating thousands of hours yearly.
There are many ways to get involved, from donating your time to our schools to participating in the development of strategic initiatives.
Interested volunteers must submit a volunteer application annually. Applications submitted between July 1 and June 30 are valid for the current school year. Please complete and submit your volunteer application, facilitated through the secure and confidential Raptor Management System.
Donate
Generous financial donations from families, residents, and businesses to the Lake Oswego Schools Foundation provide every student in our schools:
- More teachers and educational experiences than what state and local taxes can provide
- Teachers for music, reading, art, science and technology
- Music instruction for every elementary student K-5
- Additional reading support for students in K-2
- Greater exposure in grades 6-12 to electives such as Robotics, Architecture, Oceanography, Performing Arts, to name just a few!
Community
A variety of enrichment and recreational opportunities are offered in our schools. Find information about the latest artistic, athletic, and academic after-school activities provided by organizations in our schools by visiting our community programs page for helpful information.
