2022-23 NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION/ENROLLMENT
Registration for new Lake Oswego School District resident students will open on January 19, 2022.
- New students enrolling into kindergarten for the 2022-23 school year.
- New students enrolling into grades 1–12 who have never enrolled in Lake Oswego before and returning students enrolling into grades 1–12 who are not currently enrolled but will re-enroll for next year.
- Students who are currently attending LOSD during the 2021-22 school year do not need to register for the 2022-23 school year.
LOSD is pleased to offer online registration through its parent portal, ParentVUE (contact your resident school for help with logging in). See the Registration & Verification page of the LOSD website for guidance.

2022-23 OPEN HOUSES - HIGH SCHOOL & MIDDLE SCHOOL
Open houses for incoming 6th-grade, 9th-grade, and new secondary students are scheduled as follows:
Lake Oswego Junior (Middle) School - February 1, 2022, 7 pm (Virtual - Zoom Link)
Lakeridge Middle School - February 1, 2022, time TBD (Virtual)
Lakeridge High School - February 9, 2022, 6 pm (In-Person*)
Lake Oswego High School - February 9, 2022, 6 pm (In-Person*)
*In-person, however, this could change depending on COVID-19 restrictions. Please check the school website for updated information prior to the event.

SCHOOL TOURS/SHADOW DAYS (NOT AVAILABLE)
Unfortunately, our schools are unable to offer tours or shadow days for potential new students due to COVID-19.

MOVING TO THE DISTRICT? LOOKING FOR SCHOOL ATTENDANCE BOUNDARIES?
- For inquiries about moving to the Lake Oswego School District please contact the school in which your child(ren) will be enrolling.

2022-23 Guidelines
- There are TWO options for out of district students interested in enrolling in the Lake Oswego School District for the 2022-23 school year:
- Obtain an inter-district transfer from your resident district - we accept inter-district transfer students on a space availability basis. Please contact your resident district for release information and timelines. If you can't get a transfer or choose not to try, you may apply for tuition.
- Apply as a tuition student - $9,000/year. We accept tuition students on a space availability basis.
- Processing timeline:
- Middle & High School - processed upon receipt.
- Elementary - processed by the end of July 2022.

CURRENT STUDENT MOVING?
Mid-Year Move: If you move out of the district or within the district - your student will be allowed to finish the 2021-22 school year at their current school.
Options for continued enrollment in current school in the 2022-23 school year:
Summer Move: Students moving out of the district during summer 2022 will be allowed to remain enrolled in LOSD for the 2022-23 school year. -
