    Compensation:

    District-paid PERS Employee Contribution - Public Employees Retirement System
    (PERS) laws require employees to contribute 6% of their pay to PERS Individual Account Program (IAP). The LOSD pays or “picks-up” 6% on the employee's behalf. This means 6% more in employee compensation for LOSD employees who are PERS eligible.
