Step 1: Agency Application

Foreign Exchange agencies apply for approval. Agency applications are valid for one year and require re-submission each year.

Program requirements:

• Exchange Organizations must be listed each year in the Advisory List of International Educational Travel and Exchange Programs published by the Council on Standards for International Education Travel (CSIET).
• Exchange Organizations must provide proof of insurance as stipulated in the application.
• See Procedures and Guidelines for Enrolling Foreign Exchange Students for a full list of requirements.

Once available, applications will be accepted until July 1st prior to the school year (the final day of student acceptance).

Step 2: Student Application

Approved agencies may submit students for consideration. Maximum of two students per agency.

Deadline: July 1 prior to the school year
