LOJ Clubs
The LOJ Club List updates when staff members add or subtract club offerings. Please note the start date of the club you are interested in.
Clubs are a wonderful opportunity for students to meet people who have similar interests. Clubs are not intended to be used as general 'after-school care.' In most cases, staff volunteer their time and expertise during club meetings and expect all attendees to fully participate in the planned activities.
Students attending after-school club meetings can either be picked up by an adult after the club meeting ends or take the activity bus at 5:15 pm. The activity bus leaves LOJ and drops off students at all northside elementary schools.

LOJ TAG Program Documents
-
1) Teachers differentiate assignments to meet the rate and level of learning of students in classes; there is not a 'pull-out' program in middle school. Click here for a description of differentiation strategies.
2) Each TAG student will enroll themselves in a TAG Google Classroom facilitated by Ms. Cochran. This Google Classroom will contain resources for optional enrichment: lists of contests and competitions, a list of school clubs, book lists, and other resources and opportunities that come up throughout the year.
3) Each TAG student will, with the guidance of the TAG Coordinator, author their own TAG Plan in the fall and reflect on their growth in the spring.
4) During the student’s eighth-grade year, he/she/they have the opportunity to complete a Capstone Project. Successful completion of one’s yearly TAG plan, yearly reflection, and a Capstone Project will allow one to earn a "TAG Certification” notation on their transcript at the end of eighth grade.
Parent Input Form (Results from the form will be shared with your child's teachers. Direct conversations with individual teachers are always an option.)
