Student Clubs

  • Clubs are created and organized by LOHS students and vary from year to year based on interest. Student clubs have the option to renew their charter each year. New clubs are approved by the Student Senate and must have a faculty advisor sign off on their application. Past clubs have included: Art Club, DECA/Business Club, Film Club, Beach Volleyball Club, Sailing Club, Ecology Club, and Hunger Fighters Club. Check out this year's clubs, get information and join in:

    Film Club Gives students the opportunity to express and deepen their understanding of film and television
    Form and Function Teach and work with coding websites including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

    Hygiene Kits for the Homeless Works with Transition Projects to make hygiene projects for those in need

    Math Tutoring Club Assist students through Algebra to Pre-Calculus in math through online private tutoring
    Mental Health Awareness Club Reduce stigma around mental health problems and provide resources to those who need help
    Model United Nations Gain global perspectives on international issues while using collaboration and communication skills
    Movie Book Club Specifically reading books that have movies and then compare and contrast the movie and book
