    2022-23 Guidelines

    • There are TWO options for out-of-district students to request enrollment in the Lake Oswego School District for the 2022-23 school year:
      • Obtain an inter-district transfer from your resident district - we accept inter-district transfer students on a space availability basis. Please contact your resident district for release information and timelines. If you choose not to try to get a transfer or are unable to get a transfer, you may apply as a tuition student. There is no form to complete for LOSD, we wait for the transfer to come from your resident district.
      • Apply as a tuition student - $9,000/year. We accept tuition students on a space availability basis.

    • Notification timing:
      • High School and Middle School - upon receipt. Please allow 7-10 business days.
      • Elementary - by the end of July.

Students who live outside of the Lake Oswego School District boundaries who wish to enroll their child(ren) in a Lake Oswego school while continuing residency outside of district boundaries, may be eligible for enrollment. Enrollment is subject to the eligibility guidelines as outlined under each option – inter-district transfer or tuition.

Approval of admission by transfer or tuition does not imply that your student can participate in Oregon State Activities Association (OSAA) athletics or activities at the high school level. OSAA regulations apply and should be carefully considered.
