LMS TAG Program Documents
1) Teachers differentiate assignments to meet the rate and level of learning of students in classes; there is not a 'pull-out' program in middle school. Click here for a description of differentiation strategies.
2) Each TAG student will select a "Pathway" to explore while engaging in core classes, electives, and outside-of-class commitments. (Pathways are explained on pages 1-3 on the linked document.)
3) Each TAG student will, with the guidance of the TAG Coordinator, author their own TAG Plan in the fall and reflect on their growth in the spring. (The TAG Plan and yearly reflection prompts are on pages 4-7 on the linked document.)
4) During the student’s eighth-grade year, he/she/they have the opportunity to complete a Capstone Project. Successful completion of one’s yearly TAG plan, yearly reflection, and a Capstone Project will allow one to earn a TAG “Pathway Certification” notation on their transcript at the end of eighth grade. Links explaining this process will be posted soon.
